Single Shell Necklace - Puka Shell

Summertime is when you will find shell jewelry seeping its way back into our collection. There's nothing like some shell hunting to inspire new and old styles to make their way into the shop.

A Puka Shell is the worn apex of a cone shell, endemic to Hawai’i. Traditionally, Puka shells were worn by Hawaiian royalty as a symbol for protection and good luck. Puka Shell necklaces were also given to sailors for a token of luck and protection for their voyages. The Puka shells we use for our jewelry are hunted by our very own mermaids at the wings studio.
