With coconut palms swaying in the cool ocean breeze and the warm Hawaiian sun shining practically year round, it is really hard to imagine celebrating any season but summer here in Hawaii. But thankfully we don’t have to miss out on the festive fall traditions like bobbing for apples, trick or treating, and pumpkin picking! If you are looking for something to do during the “spookiest” time of the year, we invite you to make your way to the Kula Country Farms Annual Pumpkin Patch.
Opening on October 1st, Kula Country Farms kicks off the season with farm animals, children’s games, pumpkin picking, and so much more! For just $3 per person (kids 2 and under free), you will have access to all the fun seven days a week 9 am to 4 pm. Wander to the pumpkin patch and choose from the different sizes, colors, and varieties that have been locally grown this year! From pie pumpkins to decorative gourds, the selection is almost endless.
Snacks and drinks will be available for sale, and on the weekends the real party begins! From the jumping castles to face painting, there is something for just about anyone. Two special events will be hosted by the Maui 4H Livestock Judging Team and are open to the public. A pumpkin carving contest will start at 11 am on October 21st and the keiki costume contest will be held on October 28th.
Weekend parking is available in the pasture located right past the farm to the right and the patch will be open all the way until Halloween. Don’t miss out on all the Maui memories!
