It’s spooky season! AKA, the most wonderful time of the year for many of us. We’re big fans of Halloween here at Wings Hawaii, and we love making it a month-long celebration.

This spooky season, skip the mass-made stuff, and instead opt for something vintage, upcycled, and locally made on Maui in small batches. From skeleton-themed dishware to skull jewelry to crystal accessories, we’ve got truly unique pieces to help you celebrate the most bewitching season of all.
Upcycled Vintage Skeleton Dishware
‘Tis the season to eat, drink, and be scary! Our upcycled vintage dishware is a Wings Hawaii classic staple, and we especially love the delightfully devilish versions adorned with skeletons, skulls, and florals – a bewitching mix of spooky and sweet.
We start with gorgeous vintage dishware, and apply original Wings Hawaii artwork decals. After firing it in the kiln at 1700 degrees overnight, it becomes permanent, and a brand new, one-of-a-kind treasure is born.
“I adore that we’re giving old pieces new life,” says Wings Hawaii founder Samantha Howard. “It’s so fun sourcing these epic pieces of vintage china, then using them as a canvas for a new art piece, and giving people a modern way to appreciate them.”
Wings co-founder Melody Torres finds the amazing vintage plates, dishes, tea sets, and more from thrift stores, antique malls, and friends cleaning out their grandma’s collections. “I feel the sentimental value in the pieces I collect,” Melody says, “and can say with all sincerity that every single piece will be loved and cherished in its new life.”
For spooky season, we can’t wait to get frightfully festive with the Skull and Bloom Plates, a set of four dishes that add an elegant touch to your Halloween dining table.
Equally enchanting are the Skull and Butterfly Plates, featuring dancing skeletons and butterflies, that would be so pretty for a themed dinner party.
The Skull & Crown Royal Dessert Plate features a striking design that’s perfect for a spooky soiree, but also makes a cool decorative piece year-round.

Handmade Skull Jewelry and Accessories
We’ve also got elevated skull jewelry and accessories for our spooky ghouls. Like all Wings Hawaii jewelry, our sterling silver Skull Girl Stud Earrings were meticulously handmade in our Haiku, Maui studio.
