11 years operating out of this creative space in Haiku 🙌🏼 There are currently four of us on the Wings Hawai’i production team: Samantha Howard on jewelry design and production, clothing design and illustrations. She also maintains the website and creative vision. Tara Lionberger working as: assistant in the jewelry studio, product & editorial photography, stand in shop manager and nanny to Z on occasion. CJ Jones is up in the sewing studio putting her technical design knowledge to good use making sure the garments are constructed to be strong and long lasting. Her hands make so many of the garments we have in the store throughout the year. Myself: dyeing a lot of the fun colors you see in our store as well as printing the artwork onto clothing and totes. I love sourcing our antiques and vintage up cycle clothing pieces on trips, and doing decal work on the dish ware. I’m in the store a lot, too. I love sharing our work with the community and travelers from all over the world. It’s truly been a pleasure being a part of Wings for well over a decade. We’ve got a great shop team, too. They’re in there telling everyone how much love goes into everything we make. They’re packing and shipping web orders to mermaids all over the world and sharing all the good vibes with everyone who comes through the shop.
